marjorie says...
dave: hey, working hard?
me: hey there. i'm about to go to the post office. what are you up to?
dave: car problems...wouldn't start...the good news is i voted already
me: great! how did it go?
dave: easy...20mins from start to finish....
me: did you take the kids?
dave: if i didn't do you think i'd tell you? :-)
me: you went by yourself...no one was there to witness the historic event!
dave: of course i took them...they thought it was "so boring"....
me: kids! well, they will remember that their grandpa voted.
dave: they should...i was quick...i just voted for obama, heinrich, and udall....
me: did you like voting?
dave: whats to like about it? i just want to win, :-). when do you go vote?
me: i like the moment that i'm in there voting. in the next few days probably ![]()
dave: its uneventful....i'm just a grain of sand on a beach full of sand with about as much influence but i would have felt like crap if he loses and i didn't even try to help.....
me: its often very very close in new mexico. every vote counts. and if its a landslide...that says something also.
dave: i'll settle for a win any way he can get it. i can at least say i tried now which is more than i have ever done before and if theres enough other first time voters like myself he should win....
dave: you better get to the post office, i have been there already today
me: i think first time voters will come out of the woodwork for him. i suspect you guys are going to win the election for him. i'm very thankful you got registered and voted!
dave: yw!...i think...:-)
me:its most definitely a big thanks :-)
dave: post office is closing soon, you'd better get going
me: true...look for you later!
