Bush needs more than a bathroom break

Maggie says:
Too good not to pass on. Via Reuters.

At yesterday's United Nations session, W found himself in a typical situation: mind drifting, attention wandering, really not able to keep up with the discussion. Hmmm.... maybe a little time alone would help him out, help him regain his "focus." And so he writes a note to his favorite gal-pal Condi:

The Reuters caption: U.S. President George W. Bush writes a note to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice during a Security Council meeting at the 2005 World Summit and 60th General Assembly of the United Nations in New York September 14, 2005. World leaders are exploring ways to revitalize the United Nations at a summit on Wednesday but their blueprint falls short of Secretary-General Kofi Annan's vision of freedom from want, persecution and war.

Can't read what he's writing? Here's the close-up:

"I think I may need a bathroom break?"

Hmmm... can't imagine why the U.S. is falling short of Kofi Annan's vision. Maybe because trips to the bathroom are more important to our president than a world free "from want, persecution, and war."
